With these trucks that's not even needed. I've changed my battery twice and never lost a preset.

Great idea. I have a battery tender that plugs into the cigarette lighter, same idea. Didn’t even think to plug it in before the battery change.

Napa was 134, Oreilly was 144 Oreilly was closer and on my way to work. No walmart or other stores around me. and ford was closed till monday.

I'll be changing it out this morning (sunday) Glad you had no issues upgrading to a bigger battery, I wonder if changing to AGM battery is still plug and play?

all done, battery replacement only took 10 minutes or so R&R. Took way longer to clean and baking soda the positive lead. now its gonna sit overnight, heater off, lights off, radio off, nothing in the power ports. And doors locked. I did notice one thing the 4" sync screen was still on till I locked the doors and it immediately went off... read on here somewhere that another person was having troubles until he locked the doors. I did start it just to make sure it would start tomarrow before putting it to bed for the rest of the day. lol

thanks for all the tips. Like the expression "black first, Black last" Thanks Ferdinand150 for posting an excellent procedure, and RLXXI for the easy to remember expression
