ever week or so my battery is run down and I have to recharge it. battery and alternator check ok. something seems to be running it down when I am not using it. Any ideas?

I wouldn't take any time trying to figure it out. Take it back to the dealer.

 

X2. Sounds like a bad battery which does happen.

 

Do u have an aftermarket electronics installed?

 

Battery and alternator have been checked by the dealer. no after market electronics installed. If these components check good, dealer can't do much as their weren't any codes thrown

 

Did ur truck come with satellite radio? Mine did and I had the same problem as u. If u do have satellite radio, have them check out the sirius tuner. The software on mines was bad and that is what was causing the draw.
