Default Battery? Electrical? What's Wrong Here?

Hey everyone, I did a quick search and couldn't find any similar issues...

Yesterday I went to start up my truck (2013 Lariat EcoBoost) and it had a sluggish turn-over. I didn't think too much of it but about a mile into my short trip and the low fuel warning goes off, dropping a mile till empty every 0.1miles (I didn't remember being low on gas). I get to my location, turn off the truck and do my thing. Get back in the truck, about 1.5hrs later, turns over just fine and my fuel gauge is back up to 1/3 tank.

Fast forward to this morning, I get into my truck to head to work (also a short commute) and the truck wont turn over. I use my wife's car (honda civic) to jump the truck and it instantly turns over with less than 30sec charge. I'm just thinking that the battery is going and needs a replacement. Then I notice that my average MPG gauge is completely reset, my Trip A & B are reset to 0.0m, and I've lost my automatic seat presets.

Is this a dead battery issue? ECU? Electrical?

Dead battery. Mine did similar things in that it would turn off the A/C when i first turned on the truck and the seat preset was forgotten and even the stereo settings were a bit different. The truck will do everything it can to eliminate any kind of current draw so it can start the next time you need it to. As you get closer to that point, it will start doing very weird things. I bought my 2013 new and replaced my battery just a few months ago, 4-5 years on the factory one isn't bad.

I have a 2012. I am on my third battery. Strange things happen when these trucks with all their electronics and computers have a slightly off battery.
