Even if I were interested in another Ford, I sure wouldn't be getting a 2015. 1. I never buy the first year of a new model 2. I think the new F150s are the ugliest trucks on the road.

I'll never own a Dodge. 60% of the guys at work own Dodge. I've heard enough horror stories. Nevermind that everyone I've sat in, including the new ones, has felt like cheap Chinese built plastic and the seats are like church pews...

My 2011 Sierra was the best truck I've ever owned. I'll be looking at another one when I eventually get rid of this Ford.

To everyone else, thanks for the replies. You've all given me great ideas and stuff to think about/look into.
Just so you know I've owned a GMC as well. Believe it they have problems too. The Era you had produced many oil burners.

Just head on over to gmtrucks.com forums and check it out.

You just had very bad luck.

not much you can do about cel reception other than change carrier's

It is really the only tool I carry that I believe will do me much good. I do carry a basic tool kit that I have had for years, It has simple tools like box wrenches, plyers, snips, two screw driver's etc.. I don't think I can fix much with it. It does come in handy for when the belt slips off the pulley on the tractor when cutting granny's grass though, LOL.

The only thing I carry really that is useful for the truck possibly is some tire plugs and a tool to stick them in the tire.

Other than that AAA will be my friend.

I almost always have a fairly extensive selection of tools in the tool box / fuel tank that is bolted into the bed of mine.
But being practical, if anything much happpens i am calling a tow truck.
All the tools in the world are of no use without carrying a replacement part for every major part on the vehicle.
So when that diff blows, wheel bearing goes, fuel pump quits, or timing chain breaks on the side of the hwy.....i will take a cell phone over $50k in snap on tools every time.
