anyone have the banks #48747. need info on sound and drone if any.

 

I am looking at the same exhaust for my 08' here are 2 youtube videos and I think it sounds pretty good.

 

I want to know how it sounds in the cab on the road. i had the banks on my titan and it was too much

 

i have a singal banks on my 2010 f150 5.4 and it is great sounds good on the outside and not really any drone in the cab unless you really giver but great exhuast if you ask me i get lots of complements on mine i do a video but im slow on computers

 

I have the Monster exhaust SI/SO, kit #48747, on my 09 Platinum and I love it. It has a good throaty sound getting up to speed and quiets down when up to speed on the road. I also like how I can change the tone in town by clicking my tow/haul button.

Sorry I don't have any sound clips, but let's just say even my wife doesn't complain if she and a friend are riding in the back seat.

 

Not to Highjack the thread but how much did you guys pay for your exhaust and did you get it locally or order it? Just curious as this is my next mod and I have heard good things about the Banks exhaust.

I called banks, they said the system is not much louder than stock in the cab, just louder at tail pipe. they say no drone. (?)

 

well I settled on the dynomax. I just like the sound and positive feedback. this is my last try. if not satisified, staying with stock. borla was my pic but not at $1k.
