2011 f150 FX4 extended cab. I'm getting a bang when I go over a bump from drivers door area I checked the hinges and latch they are all tight .Any one else having this problem and if so did you find the problem thanks

 

Had the same noise... you need to make sure your back door is FULLY closed and FULLY latched at the top of the door... with it closed give a gentle pull out on top of the door... if it moves at all, open and slam it shut... it should latch tightly and be ok... other than that try emptying crap out of door pockets good luck 😉

 

I tried everything nothing helped I'm going to replace the latch and striker thanks for your help

 

Is there anything under the seat or in the door tray? I had a popping when door was opened and one of the hinge bolts had backed out. Only things I can think of.

 

Wait! Stop! I JUST had this problem, and it drove me batty, but I nailed it.

I had a funny noise in my passenger front door, and I originally suspected a loose cable or wiring harness inside the door.

I pulled my door panel, and found this -



That's a piece of the asphalt door insulation that had delaminated from the door skin and was hanging by the tape backing, banging inside the door.

Fixed it with my pocket knife -



Pop your door panel off, and check the inside of the door.
