Default Bambi mod (no relay or forscan needed).

I am new to this generation, so may be a little late and someone has already done this. Probably with a relay, but that isnt necessary.

I know alot have used coding to help with the body control module to be able to do some of this. Its all fairly simple and doesn't require any relay, forscan, or special tools. A simple 4" piece of 18gauge wire and 10 minutes of time.

He just tied them into the parking light circuit (with a relay, one would hope). That's pretty crude. I want them selectable.

He said he didn't use a relay. Just because it works doesn't mean it shouldn't have a relay.

Forscan bambi mod is a much better way to do this. It's extremely simple, no hacking of wires, no excess draw on the parking lights from not using a relay, and can drive around with fog lights off if one desires

No relay needed. Seems most have forscan, which I don't use so its kinda a mute point.

Its actuall the trigger/remote lead to turn on the fogs. (.003 amps)

So you can enable your fog lights to come on with parking lamps only, autolamps only, etc ?

Obviousy it allows the high beam mod.

My personal opinion: With all of the electronics and constant communication between modules in the newer trucks, I would be concerned with side effects when using a jumper wire.
