BakFlip question
Hi guys,
I had the bakflip cover installed by Ford.
Any way to tell if it's the ford spec version or the standard HD? I called Bakflip and they said the ford version had slightly better fit and finish... which brings me to my next question.
If I push the bakflip to one side (even with the tailgate closed) it will move enough so that the latch doesn't clasp any more -- making it easy to open without opening the tailgate.
Anyone else have this?

Thanks for the info, this dealer is starting to **** me off.
I know, it's pretty crazy. I don't think it pushed into the bed, I'm going to back the clamps out and see. If it did dent, I'm going to be a little more pissed. I have an appointment for line-x on Monday so I'm not too worried about a few scratches... but the carelessness is pretty messed up. $52k sticker price truck and they didn't care enough to install the part correctly.
I would have rather they leave it in the bed and I install it but they didn't want to hear that.

Ok, so here's a quick update.
Went in, talked to the dealer. They are ordering the correct part - apparently they ordered the correct part (all of the dealers in the region go through this ford accessory vendor... so they say) and the install company put the wrong one in.
I had an appt for line-x Monday and they said hold off on that, they will take care of the line-x.
Not bad, I was only looking for $100-$200 off of the cover. The manager was a nice guy and listened and took the concerns seriously - that's a good sign.
