I have been wanting a bakflip but hesitant on getting one, seems as though it's hit or miss some get a great one others have problems with build quality or leaks etc...

I am looking for something that is going to be 100% waterproof at times I need to have that area dry for hauling electronics and other valuable items.

I am debating if I should go with a Leer 100xq instead of a tonneau cover...

If you gloss over that statement and miss the reference to BAKFLIP You could almost say the same thing about the F150... But you bought one of those

** Edit... I'm just kidding... Kinda.

If I had to assume... I would safely assume that the original one was a "Return" from someone else. Very Happy Now...!!

Thanks for all of the advice... now I have to wait for my truck to come in...so I can put the freaking thing on...
If you still have that old one and havent sent it back yet, do me a favor and put a tiny colored sticker on it somewhere. Im gonna laugh when mine finally shows up and it ends up being the one you sent back.

FYI, my order is still in "Processing" status.....

Likewise on the HD, seemed to be pretty positive reviews on what I read in here. I thought I heard though that the HD was no longer being made and that they changed the G2.

Mine also is not 100% waterproof, but close enough for me to be more than happy with it. If I wanted it 100% waterproof I probably would have bought a fiberglass cover or a cap.

Maybe the problem is not what but where you ordered your bakflip. I just ordered the F1 last week from truckaddons.com. I will post the results of the product when I get it.

I agree with that 100%...! after seeing the new one deliver today... I know for a fact the other one was reboxed and shipped out. and its funny, they state on the Return Directions.... DO NOT mark the outside of the box with your RA number... or address... or it will not be credited to your account... BE SURE to include all package materials... etc...

I really think that keep sending them out (the suppliers) and hope that they dont get returned... I hope I'm wrong...
