Good to know about the tailgate seal freezing. Makes sense that it would. My former cover would do something similar but a knock on the tailgate would typically free it.

So the wife and I did 250miles round trip on Saturday in some rather unpleasant rain. Pleased to say that the bed stayed just as dry as it did with the former cover. I also like that this cover doesn't flap like a dancer in a rap video when going down the highway.

I did find a solution for the open end drip channel on the tailgate end of the rail. I took a section of black plastic (a few mm's thick) and trimmed it to fit the contours of the rail end. Dabbed a bit of clear silicone on its face and applied it to the rail end. Then took a bit of weather stripping that I had left over and applied it to exposed face of the new end cap. When the tailgate is closed it makes a nice compressed fit. Small amounts of water should just hang out in the rail til I'm pointed downhill, or I brake. When I'm pointed uphill, if water surges over the end cap, it should now run between the Bedrug liner and the tailgate. Pretty easy fix that cost me nada since I had everything in the garage. I'll take some pics later on today.
