Bak Flip issues
I believe the UV has to do with the fading of the panals not the durometer of the rubber seals and hinges. I believe that all levels use the same exact seals and hinges, it's just the panals and fit and finish that are different.
They also do not claim that these covers are 100% waterproof. I have driven mine through pouring rain and it has sat through 24 hours of hard rain and still only gets minimal leaks as stated before. We just got 3" of snow and it worked fine.
A small little problem that I found after the snow was that some melted and water got between the rear rubber seal and the plastic cap on the tailgate, well it sat over night in freezing temps and the next morning I was unable to lower my tailgate as they had frozen together. I had to physically lift up the seal to seperate the seal from the tailgate, I was a bit worried about damaging the seal but it is fine.

Sorry for not replying... Been busy!
Finally followed up with BakFlip. Sent the pictures of the seals, and they claim the rubber seals have been shrinking, causing the leaks. They will be sending me a new cover next week! When I get to a computer, I will posT some pictures of the issue so you can make sure yours is ok.
Don't forget... They only give a 1yr warranty. Lucky for me, i bought mine Jan 12, 2010.
