Default Bad luck or what???

Sorry need to vent a bit here...

I purchased my truck new 8/13. It now has 39k miles on it. It has NEVER once been back to the dealer for anything. Knock on wood, it's been flawless. I maintain all my vehicles exceptionally well, including my truck. So on to the drama..

I just replaced my 3rd tire on this truck due to a flat. First time it was @ 4am, when I picked up a wheel weight on the road. I had to use the dreaded jack that came with the truck. Now I carry an small aluminum floor jack with me. Second time it was a huge nail, wasn't so bad considering. This past week I picked up a piece of metal about 3" long. All three tires were too close to the sidewall. These are the 20" Bridgestone's, Wtf...

Also, the tailgate has already been painted twice, and the rear bumper once. Ok, those, I'll take the blame for..

I had my '05 F350 for 10 years & 100+k miles, with much less drama. I still love my 150, it just don't love me back..

Looks like me and you need a set of these: http://www.bridgestonetire.com/tread...-concept-tires

I drive 40 miles each way to work one one of the busiest interstates in Ohio, I have to replace a tire a year on average due to potholes and road debris. This time around, I bought the Ford TireCARE 36k miles coverage ($342) just to see if it's worth it. So far, at 17k, I am on my third tire, the gamble paid off

One tire was a spark plug, one was a pothole and the last one was something that took a 3 inch plug from the tire

I was considering an AT tire, but I love the way the truck rides as it is. I too have an almost 40 mile trip one way to work, and I appreciate comfort. I wonder what the price tag will be for those airless tires.

I have 22's, 285/45/22, never had a flat. Drive 60 miles one way to work on 635 in Dallas. I'd have to call bad luck haha
