Default BackUp Camera Install Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
Newbie here. I recently bought a used 2012 F150 SCREW (the previous guy installed a aftermarket head unit and amp). I am in the midst of making some modifications, but I'm running into trouble adding a backup camera.

So what I have:
Backup Camera

and a NX603 Clarion with backup camera adapter

I'm having trouble getting the camera to work obviously, and I'm not sure where I went wrong.

I ran the video cable from the rear plate to my head unit. I have the rear red wire attached the red on the video and my ground attached to the frame.
In the dash I have the red wire (from video) quick spliced into the +12 accesory wire. There is also a C2R-FRD1 with the reverse wire attached to the correct wire on my HU.

Nothing happens when I put my car in reverse. I'm not sure what I did wrong or how to trouble shoot it. I have a multimeter and the 12v accessory wire appears to be supplying voltage. Any help is greatly appreciated!

You need to get power from somewhere to turn your camera on when you need it.
I.E.: in reverse...
connect it to a reverse light.
