Did a search nothing. Manual nothing. Just picked up a 2014 Eco and can not figure out what the white box with 4 bars does (lower left). Thanks for any help.

Not a touch screen. But pushed the button below it and puts a white line across it lol

I wish mine would show up there instead of the mirror, makes me want to trade it in on a 14 right now! Maybe not that bad but ford should have done that on the 13s

If i remember correctly the button with small bars just turns off the green, yellow and red alert colors you see on the screen as you are nearing an object. Makes it easier to see the trailer hitch as your backing up to it i guess........

On ours, the button on the right is a close-up view of the ball and trailer hitch without the lines. Makes it very easy to see when hooking up a trailer. The button on the left does not seem to do anything on our truck either. I'm also curious about the left one. cdru

Figured it out. Those bars are the four sensors on the bumper. It lights in the area with a colored box like yellow or red depending how close it picks it up on that sensor. If you turn it off the colored area goes away.
