Default Backup Camera

I just got a 2011 F150 XLT. Looking into getting a backup camera. The dealer will install the whole thing for $495. That includes a new mirror with the monitor. and a license plate camera. They will upgrade to the Ford Logo camera for an additional $200. I would like the Logo camera but $700 seems like a lot of money. I know many of you have gone this route, so wondering what your thoughts are on the license plate camera or the logo camera.

Get a cam in your tailgate handle, and you can run it to a screen in the unused cubby either on the right or left (if you don't have a TBC) and it's like $50

I ended up getting a Magellan 9055 refurb gps (Fry's) and a backup camera for my 2012.
I like having the 7 in screen and GPS unit with traffic detail.

I first tried the wireless backup camera, but it didn't work well when first turning on the GPS. So I converted it over to wired which works better and is instant on.

It took about an hour to run the wire from the back to the front with a lot of ties to hold it to the existing wires going from front to back.
No problem at all going into the firewall of the truck.
There is a big rubber circle that the existing wires go through. I popped it up and slid my wire in and put the rubber back in place.

GPS - $100
Backup camera - $20 ( I spent $120 for the Magellan wireless, but you can a good wired for $20 on Amazon)
Dash GPS mount for Ford F150 - $30 ProClipUsa.com
GPS mount for dash holder - $7
25ft RCA cable - $8 Ebay

Well that's my story.
