Default back wheel spacing

I will start by stating that I have search and not found anything.. just recently i change my rims.. and now more then before i notice that my right back tire sticks out more than the left one.. i have around 30 inches from my frame to the end of the tire in one side and on the other is about 30 1/2 inches... is that common? I think in the past i have seen it mention on other vehicles.. but i just want to make sure there is nothing funny going on after i lifted the truck or something is not sitting right.....

ill try to post pics.. tomorrow..

Is your axle a little off center? I know on the S197 Mustangs when you lower them the rear end moves a tiny bit so maybe lifting the trucks yields the same thing

maybe... i need to take it back to the shop where i got it lifted and have them take a second look... its just funny that with my older set of rims it would not be as visible as it is now..

Did you get wider wheels or ones that stick out more? That could make it more noticeable

There is no rear panhard rod on these trucks to push the axle when raising or lowering.

If aftermarket rims were purchased, verify the backspacing of the rims are the same. It could be possible 2 were slightly different by mistake.

Verify that your u bolts are tight.

Verify that your lug nuts are tight and that there is not an additional spacer behind one of the wheels by accident.

Verify that the tires are the same size.

Man I thought I was the only one that noticed this! I've noticed it on all my vehicles though...stock or aftermarket wheels. I've just learned to accept it lol. My passenger side rear wheel sticks out farther than my drivers side. I've never lifted or lowered any of them either just leveled.

I would like to get some bushwackers but that reason alone is holding me back!
