I have both, and like both.
But if I'd have to choose (like you are asking), I'd pick the camera.

I have both. Camera great for hooking up the trailer. Sensors great for normal backing.

But the wife still backed into a low hanging tree limb and dented the tail gate.

So you can add the OEM camera set up....Can you add the OEM sensors or is it an aftermarket?
U can add an OEM camera and sensors. I like the angle of the OEM camera better than my license plate mounted camera. As for the sensors, they'll work the same whether u get it from Ford or aftermarket

^ That sucks but dang killed that mailbox lol
I had aftermarket cam on my 2010 left it on when I traded the truck and I miss it helps for the parking lots where you have todo 80 point turn to back out of spot but I guess the beepers would do the same but I have never had those.

I bought my truck with the sensors, and I made sure I found a truck that had the atleast the sensors. I then added the OEM backup camera, it cost more than the aftermarket backup cameras, but I like the fit and finish. And the camera is better than most aftermarket backup cameras.

I priced out both and it came out to be ~$500 each, but the camera was the cheaper and easier to install, so I would reccomend that. But like others say they work well together.

You got the OEM camera for ~ $500..... How much for the install or is that included?

My 2012 Platinum came with both, with the Nav screen you can back right up to a trailer first time every time. The sensors are allright but I prefer the camera.

I have the camera in the rear view and it works just the same. Makes it easy for a trailer or just to use in general.
