Default Baby seat mat

My wife wants her coat back. It was the only thing we had in the truck when we picked it up to put under the car seat. Looking for ideas to put on the seat to keep the leather from getting botched. Thinking maybe a soft rug runner, what have you guys used???

The big baby stores sell mats that go between the car seat and the seat. I have one but it doesn't stop the car seat from making dimples in the leather. The mat plus a towel works well.

Most hardware big box stores sell the non-slip rubberized drawer liners in the kitchen sections, kind of like the non-slip mats you would put under a decorative area rug. Usually come in beige, black and white that I've seen. Might be enough to protect the seat.

I'd go for a back seat cover... babies grow up to be kids, that spill crumbs and drinks in the back seat...... until they are about 24 years old!

I always used a bath towel that matched the interior. Always doubled as a towel when you need to mop things up.

I just folded a "western" style blanket from walmart and put it behind the car seat. It keeps the leather as good as new and only costs $10.

I used a thick piece of card board cut to match he bottom of the car seat. Can't see it when the car seat is on top.

I use a folded up bath towel in mine. Doubled over it helps keep the dimples from permanately forming.
