Default Avs in channel deflector help

So I'm trying to install my in Channel deflectors. I installed them and when I roll the window up to set them, the window rolls right back down (that sensing crap. How do I disable it or bypass it to work with the deflectors?

I ordered the AVS stick ons just for this reason and so no dirt/debris get caught in the channel and scratches up the windows.

I've heard you've got somehow push up on the window and force them in there and let them sit overnight so the channel expands enough to allow for the window.

I left mine up for a week or so on the front two to help the window channel expand. The clips that you had to install in the front channel are what seems to be key in keeping the windows from bouncing back. My drivers side never has not bounced back after the first week. My passenger side has had some issues. I moved the clip down to mirror where the drivers side clip was set and it seemed to work at first. I'm going to try to adjust it again more to see if that works.

Here is the kicker about these vents... They let rain in my 2013 lariat truck when my windows were cracked, twice before I realized what the issue was. AVS is based out of the town I live in and they have recognized my issue as legitimate and they are working right now to resolve the issue and they said when they are done they are going to send me a new set. Your results may vary but we wary of leaving your windows cracked.

This question has been answered multiple times on this forum and here it is again. Don't click the switch to the 2nd detent that will allow the window to go all the way up. Clicking the switch to the 2nd detent starts the auto up relay. After a few times it will learn the resistance is normal and you can use the auto up again.

The search section on my iPhone was coming up with no results so my apologies for a re-post. I would just inch it up slowly and when it got to the top it would just bounce back.

I will move the clips a little lower as this seems to be the trick for the drivers and passengers sides. Thanks for the quick responses guys.

Feel your window switch slowly, when you first push or pull on it, it has a slight click, if you move the switch further you feel a 2nd click.

When rolling the window up don't pull the switch up to that 2nd click and it will go all the way up. You have to hold the switch in that position or it will stop when you release it.
