Default Auto Climate Distribution Problem?

New to the forum. Read through many threads in my searches but could not find the same problem....

Recently purchased a used 2012 FX4 SCREW. The auto climate appears to work fine to get to temp - (heat) low blower then ramps up as trucks warms in floor mode.

After driving 20+ minutes the mode changes to panel and blows much warmer air on the drivers side than passenger. Both setting the same -68 degrees. I measured the temp today on the ride home: Driver - 108F, Pass - 64F. It will stay like that until i adjust the temp then is reacts to correct but slowly returns.

Spoke to the dealer and was told they all do it. Not a fan of the dealer so I may try another. Anyone notice this in yours? Thanks.

Sounds like a blend door problem and NO, they do not all do it. I'd find a new dealer.

I second finding a new dealer. They don't all do this, nor should they. What an asshat.

Thanks for the info.

I spoke with several others with auto climate (not all Ford) and none of theirs change to panel mode. Especially when the outside air is below 40.

I'm going to try my luck at another dealer.
