Doesn't seem to me that they last that much longer.
My (retired) 2001 Nokia bar phone looks at your battery life and laughs! Batteries measured in hours?

And they say there has been progress!

Lol!
I remember my old Nokia, was barely worth using as a phone let alone for email or surfing the web. ;-)

The internal storage of android systems are often taken up with bloat ware... Apple too, but if it states 16g you get a larger percent of that free on ios than the majority of androids.

I also like both, but just throwing that thought out there, not saying you are, but many people like to throught he storage claim out there without looking at all the angles.
Well I doubt your streaming much, the average person isn't anyway now that there's no more unlimited data. I live and drive where service is spotty so I need the storage. I actually use my phone as a flash drive from time to time if I need to transfer files or take with me for a trip, lol! Like you say it all depends on your useage but Samsung running Android has more possibilities, that's undeniable.

That's why Apple only has about 20 percent of the market with Android having over 50, the rest don't have smartphones. Apple devices are overpriced and less functional than the competition. I don't know about you but personally I don't like paying more for something that does less. Don't fall for the hype, check the facts. If you buy a16 gig iphone 5 and then discover you need more storage youre simply ****ed, you can throw it away and buy a 32gig one for $850 but I can simply pop in a 32$ 64 gig card. For you to do everything with Apple that I can do with my 750$ Samsung you'd have to spend thousands and have multiple apple devices and even then you still won't be able to, haha! Not that you need to or even want to but I'm just saying. It may be adequate for your needs but saying Apple is better in any way is simply untrue.
Here's some more actual data for you.

A top 10 list isn't very good when comparing 1 phone to dozens. How about this instead.

Mine compares actual phones. Your charts compare operating platforms. I'm actually surprised BB was that high.
Besides, isn't that what a top ten list does, compare 1 to the remaining 9 top selling products??

You kidding? Before the iPhone 1 if you didn't have a blackberry you were nobody! Unfortunately they failed to compete with Apple and android until it was too late and most blackberry users had went to Apple or Android, kinda like how apple has failed to compete with Android and we all know where blackberry is now. I had a few blackberrys and they were awesome in their time of glory.

Ah, no, I'm not kidding. I know what they were like back in the day. I'm surprised they are still ranked as high globally as they are currently.
Apple had failed to compete? Still full of it eh?
Apple has a great system with Car play, oh and they just signed a deal with IBM for a more extensive business platform.
