I see AutoAnything has them for 20-bucks off... Just curious if anyone has one (in a 5.0L) and if they have an opinion!
Thanks!

Ive been looking at the one on AutoAnything as well, Im glad to see someone with the 4.6l 3v comment on it because thats what I have.
Also, you should check out ebates.com, they have several coupons and what not you can you use at several different automotive stores. I just used one for $20 off a $200+ order a few hours ago making the total of mine $245.95, yessir!
I dont know if that ^^ is considered spam, if so I apologize I did not intend to break any rules of this forum. A co-worker showed me this a few weeks ago and I just figured I would pass this information along as there are several auto parts sites you can get discounts at; and I also just bought an afe cai this afternoon so it seemed to kind of fit.
Enough ranting..Cheers, Beers, Mountaineers

I have the afe cold air on my 5.0. I got it from mike at 5 star according to what I have read is that if you put a cold air on your truck to get the most out of it you will have to get a tune for your 5.0. And Mike makes a cover for the afe if you don't want it that loud. I have it and you can still hear it but only when you get down on it. At normal driving it sounds stock. And I just went on a 600 mile trip driving 75-80 and got 19.5 mpg

Informative, thanks caperj..
Nice plug... I will check it out, thanks!
Tune is in my future. I am reading up on threads with Factory Warranty with a Tune, want to make sure I don't blow my warranty.
My thoughts are to get the hardware (intake, exhaust), then the software (tune).
Thanks everyone!

Is the air box unit adjustable to its final resting position?
Reason I ask is I have the ram air hood and on the underside it's got a box molded for flush mounting. Curious if the position yours sits at is fixed or can be adjusted to sit flush with the box out under hood....?
