Default Anyone running 3" block in the back?

Hey guys, I am ordering rancho's quick lift struts/coils for the front along with all new front end parts....

I will be wanting to keep the factory rake so I plan to use 3" tapered blocks which will add 1.5" of lift in the rear...

I would like to stick with Rancho 9000 shocks in the rear, however, my only option is stock or 2.5" of lift with their shock lengths.

What have y'all done?

Thanks!

I am running a 3" rear block (and a 1.5" AAL) with rear raptor 3.0" takeoffs though. If the shock is around 28-31" extended length you should be fine.

I had a 2" block and 1.5" AAL before the 3" and was right at 25.5" extended length on my rear shocks. Now with the 3" and AAL I am right at 26.25".

Gotcha,

The stock height for my application from rancho website: (Compressed to extended lengths) 17.6" to 28.5"
The 2.5" lift shock is 18.6" to 30.5"

So if I wanna be in a shock 28-31, either would be ok...

Thanks!!

If those are the choices, I would choose the 2.5" 18-30.5". That gives you more down travel and the shock will not be the limiting factor.

Perfect, Rancho suggested the shock for 2.5" of lift as well...

Thanks!

Not exactly the setup you're looking to run, but I am running 3" blocks on the rear axle.

3" front and back...

Are you running stock height shocks or longer shocks?

Looks good!
