I'm thinking the 275/70/18 would look nice with a 1.5" front and rear lift...or do you guys thing the tire would look to small???

there is a member on here with the about that level and 275/70/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers and his truck looks awesome. it is a 2wd though, so it don't have the fenderwell gap a 4wd does to begin with.

I think you should try and post this question as a new thread just because people like me that are reading this post are looking at the smaller tire sizes. There are plenty of very knowledgeable people on this forum and im sure someone will of had a similar problem, especially if they see your post.

Its been shown, but here's a closer look at the 265/70/18's on my 2WD without a lift (front and back). Might help show that there is still plenty of room to spare:
