Anyone removed their cats??

has anyone removed their resonators or cats?? Ive had my flow master super 44 muffler for a while but it just doesn't sound loud enough for me so I'm thinking about removing the resonator or cat, but what are the downfalls?

Removing the resonator is enough. I love mine. I wouldn't want to remove the cats.

but what is the sound difference, is it throatier or just crispier?
