i like it as well but am hesitant about drone. My MBRP kit on my ranger dumped before the axle and pointed down and had drone at anything over 2k rpms. I do like that it tucks up outta the way. I’ve never been a fan of having it stick out the side and feel duals can look dumb if not done properly.

i don’t have black tip on a black truck but can offer black tip on a blue truck if someone’s interested.

This. The original black powdercoating on my tip started looking terrible after a year. I repainted it w/ black paint, started looking terrible after another year. Next up is Plastidip. Based on my experience with PD it will good good for much longer.

Here's an example of the dual rear exit black polished style tips on one of our shop F-150's with the Ecoboost 3.5L. We also offer our Thunderstorm cat back systems for these trucks which have the dual side swept tip setup in both black polished and the chrome look polished tips.

i also had a ranger set up like that. my F150 is currently running old blown out dual glasspacks with turn-downs. love the sound, but drone is terrible. i like duals, but if they aren't perfectly, my OCD would go into high gear. I'm thinking a setup like this, scavenged from my original exhaust, with no muffler (just cats and resonator). hoping for less drone since it would dump further back.

Is there a drone at 2200rpm? Did you notice a change in volume or is it a placebo and strictly for aesthetics?
