Well to follow up on my deal, I went the next day, and there was a misunderstanding with the paperwork. The salesperson thought a couple other rebates applied, like a 5.0 $500 in their original quote to me) and they did not. and........................... they honored their original quote. The finance guy some how got me to buy tire/wheel insurance, and had the etch stuff, I didn't need. But they already did it to the vehicle. It was slightly shady, but I was getting a good deal. So the $300 didn't bother me too much. My last truck, I went through tires and rims like crazy for whatever bad luck. I'm sure now that I have this expensive policy, nothing will ever happen.
Anyway, I got the truck for $30,451 + the $300 tire thing + TTL.
Doc fees were only $120, I think. This is in Dallas, Texas. Pretty good for $12,469 or 30% off.
The second circle is the rebates they applied, the took the two rebates that didn't apply and rolled them into price, at the top circle. So top circle - rebates = 30,451.

Thanks,
The top line MSRP incl options/destination delivery $43,920 before Manufacturer discount of $1,000 for the luxury package. Bringing the big Blue MSRP to 42,920.00
Thinking about buying a junk 1995 car off craigslist with title in the morning before I pick it up, to see if I can't shake a wee bit more off the price.
