Default Anyone contact this firm for class action lawsuit?

I've contacted Ford, and my dealer tomorrow if I can. I'm just another unpleased ecopoop owner, I got 13-3-3 done and my truck is noticeably much slower and different shifting, it held 5th gear going up a tiny gradual incline in the highway which in 10,700 miles it NEVER did until after the TSB. I didn't buy this truck, I bought the truck I test drove and I'm pissed about it.

Go ahead and tell me how wonderful your ecoboost is.... Mine was ok too , until I almost got ran off the road in a rainstorm when my truck decided to die and with a 3.5yr old and a 14month old in the back I'm not willing to risk it.

I completely understand how you must feel... as a dad, your job is to be concerned about your family.

Not to minimize your plight, but there is another thread on here where someone figured out that when the TSB was done, the "tubes" weren't lined up as they should be and experienced the same problem. A simple loosening of the clamps and twist the tubes to where they were supposed to be and VOILA! problem solved.

So, whether or not you do it yourself or you have an <apparently> incompetent dealer do it, it should (hopefully) fix the lack of power issue. Maybe someone else will chime in with the link to that thread.

I wish you success!

It may be safer to have the truck fixed by ford if they agree to it. Class action law suits take years sometimes.

HalfTon, I don't remember the exact TSB for it, just recall someone posting Ford had one for eco owners who lost power after having the CAC TSB performed!

I was in a class action lawsuit with Ford over the cam failures in the 96-99 Tauras SHO's for years, and we ended up losing. I had my cams welded by Kirk Duchette, and haven't had a failure with it. I was pretty pissed at Ford and didn't buy another till my 13 F150. Now this! I haven't had the shudder, but I'm afraid this whole situation will hurt mine and everyone else's resale value. Only time will tell.
I do love my truck, but this makes it hard fully enjoy if your constantly wondering if its going to fall on its face or blow up like a few others.

Ford if your reading this, if this problem doesn't get fixed and we all get screwed, I won't come back. Screw me once shame on you, screw me twice shame on me. So please Ford take care of this. Up until the last 10 years I have been very loyal to ford as have others. The F150 is your money maker, so FIX IT!

I did have the loss of power twice, once putting me in a very dangerous situation in a storm with my kids in the car.

If anyone comes across any TSB's please let me know via PM, i'd really appreciate it.
