Default Anybody modified this? Pictures?

I was wondering if anyone's modified this bulb. I observed the other day that it is useless. It doesn't blink or anything. Not even with the hazards on. I'm thinking about replacing em with different color LEDs or something.

Not sure what you can legally change it to. Feds say all vehicles must have a side marker light orange front, red rear. Most tailights wrap around the side to be the rear one. But if you change to a different color on the front you may get pulled over.

I modded the equivalent bulbs on my old Grand Prix to a front signal and a sequential rear signal indicator...I feel like our trucks are becoming too advanced for that; probably just start throwing codes, haha.

A little off topic but I saw a late model (2010-12) chevy duramax that had the marker lights a deep red/maroon color. The truck was black and tho not a Chevy fan, it was really different and looked good. Doubt it was anywhere near legal, but there ya go.

I'm curious if my mirror lights count as side markers. I have them on both sides, front and back.
