Drive a truck with a tune, upgraded springs and shocks and better tires and you'll be actually disappointed with how cheap Ford went with OEM parts and why you stayed stock for so long.

I have a couple.
1. Tires - I wish I would've kept the Toyo's when I sold my 2011 and stuck them on my new truck. I feel dirty buying the same tires again and finding a way to get my money's worth out of these torn up stock size MS/2's.
2. Poly-fill sub - Did wonders on my 2011, did jack sh*t on my '13. Half an hour of my time wasted, the stereo still sucks ***.

M/Ts instead of A/Ts. They cause way too much drag and I hardly ever get in the mud. A/Ts would be a nice happy medium and get me better MPG.

1.) line-x'ing my 2013 xlt grill- never fully liked the look and then it cost me around $700 for a replacement OEM grill plus the cost of the initial Line-x work.
2.) aluminum 5" driveshaft upgrade- installed a $700 custom driveshaft in an hopeless effort to end the rear end clicking & increase performance. slip-yoke action was a disaster on the new shaft but it did run smoother at freeway speeds. i did get a full refund but never kept my OEM shaft so was forced to purchase another one. the only upside was a nice lesson on F150 driveline workings & operation. LOL
3.) Spyder LED tails- never fit right & knew i was in trouble when i saw "made in taiwan". returning them resulted into a credit card dispute w/ CARID.com but they finally gave in after initial refusal, nasty emails & being contacted by AMEX.
4.) pulling my carpet out & replacing it with vinyl flooring. it doesnt fit as well as the factory ones do and also the adding of $450 in Dynamat to the floor was a waste of $ and time because its no quieter than it was before. i will say that it is nice simply using a hand wisk broom to clean out dog hair and dirt.
