Default Any 4.6L owners out there.

Got bored of hearing about all the 5.0 and all the EB's. Lol.

What mods have you guys done to the 4.6L. Has any one done a lift on one.

The point of this thread is for us to talk about our rare 4.6L's.

I have a 4.6 3v. I just pulled an 11k trailer from North, Ga. To South , Ga some here think I'm crazy. If an EcoBoost can go 70 mph with 11k so can my truck. It just takes me a little longer to get up to speed. Otherwise it's the same truck, weight, rear end and tranny.

My mods are as follows
Cooper AT/3 275/70/18 tires
Brake controller OEM
Airlift airbag
Weather Tech floor mats
BakFlip bed cover

4.6 2v.

6" lift on 35's with 3:73 gears. No real performance mods but gears and tune should be done by summer.

Truck tows a 4 horse, horse trailer fairly often and have never had an issue. Its just not a sports car lol.

Got a 4.6 3v. Stock for now. But Have to say I like the fact that i get about 2mpg better than my dads 2010 5.4l and have about the same power. Looking to do exhaust, intake by summer then maybe a programmer. Just finding it difficult to find many exhaust systems that will fit the Screw 6.5ft box
