Another tire question.
I've been strongly considering either of these two cooper tire's.
Has anyone bought them to replace their scorpions.... and if you did, have you put over 15,000 miles on them?
I trust your opinion over what most will write on Amazon.
I'm not going to purchase them on there, unless I can't get close to the same price.
The only reason I'm changing after only a year is the 3/8's bolt we pulled out. The hole needed a patch and I don't like no stinking patches! (some will get that)
I do like everything about the factory Pirelli's, except the winter traction and the price.
I don't have any trails around me anymore, and unfortunately I don't drive up to Maine every chance I had, like I used to. So yes they're just going to be street queen tires.
So I'm talking about 3 months of winter driving, occasionally hauling a 1000lb's and really just normal daily driving.
I like the smaller sidewall with the 20" rims. I'm not going to an aggressive tire, or anything like that. I'm just thinking they most resemble the Pirelli's.

I wouldn't use Amazon reviews either - I'd check TireRack, Discount Tire, etc. I also put up a Consumer Reports review a while ago - they do SCIENTIFIC testing of tires, not emotional, non-scientific testing. Cooper not on the list.
