Default Another ticking question!

Hi guys. I have a 2014 F150. When I go to get in the car before I even start it I hear a ticking noise that sounds like it's under the steering wheel possibly lower. Any ideas of why it could be doing it all of a sudden. The engine is not on when I am hearing this noise. It goes away once I turn the engine on and start driving.

Thanks!

What truck is it, what options does it have etc. But are your keys in the on position when you hear the clicking, is the key off in the ignition, are they not in the ignition etc. Have you started feeling under the dash to see if you can feel the click? Have you tried to get your head back there to listen for it? But it could be a relay of some sort relating to the doors opening, the locks unlocking, a computer turning on etc.
