And not that long ago 5000 miles change worried the "every 3000" group. Times change, technology improves. Takes longer for old habits and mind sets to change.

My 08 335i had it set for 15k mile oil changes...I can guarantee you'd get it before that because something else will go wrong with the motor before that so they'll have to drain it anyway haha.
