Anyone out there been able to index music on their android phone with the sync system in your truck? I can use bluetooth to play music from the phone through the system over bluetooth, and I can advance and pause etc., but the system doesn't index the files. What I mean is I can't say "play track xxx" like I can with files stored on the hard disk.

Anyone achieve this? Maybe I'm asking too much.....

 

I think you are. Probably unless you mount your phone as "mass storage" Sync won't see it as a hard drive or usb drive.

 

I don't use voice commands but my phone will display the song name and artist if I have it connected with the jab. Is that what your after?

 

It will do it if you connect it via usb. But not through Bluetooth. I also can't use stereo controls to skip tracks when connecting via Bluetooth.
