Has anyone added Android Auto to their touch screen stereo in the 2009-2014 Lariats?

Sure. Either by changing to an aftermarket stereo or, mainly for 2013-14, changing to a Sync3 system taken from a 2016-18 model Ford.

I have a 2014, and as Spiky mentioned, upgraded to the SYNC3 system. Works great for Android Auto and CarPlay.

However, assuming your username is accurate and you have a 2009, you'll need to go aftermarket. Look up the iDataLink Maestro kit. Great option to go aftermarket. MANY compatible head units, and ability to maintain your steering wheel controls assuming you have them.

Hope that helps.

So the factory touch screen in my 2009 isn't compatible with Android Auto? I'm not sure which Sync it is.

No, it's not. If you have SYNC, it would be Gen 1. Your only option is to look at aftermarket.

AA was released in 2015. No product made in 2009 is compatible.
