Default Amp/Sub Questions

I've searched everywhere, and can't find anything to help me. I have a 2013 Lariat super crew with the non-Sony touch screen MFT. I wanna keep this radio, but I want to put subs and an amp in my truck. Does this radio have the proper hook-ups? Or is there some kind of connector I need to buy to use this radio with an aftermarket setup? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ford has a kicker sound stage sub amp combo addon that will fit perfectly under the rear seat and produces tons of bass, I have one in my truck and it totally transforms the sound system.

They sell them cheaper on ebay and amazon but go by the part # on the Ford site for the correct application, they also make a complete set that comes with 4 kicker door speakers but I have no idea how good they sound, I have Polk audio in my doors.

Best bang for the buck without a doubt and easy to install, comes with everything you need to hook it up.

just my .02 cents- If you pick up the icker, skip the all inclusive package with the door speakers. I had them and... "they didn't perform to my standards". the sound would cut out due to kick overheating. I do live in az, so perhaps environment may play a factor, but still... the speakers I have now have yet to overheat

I used this amp
http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/mrp-m500/
It has speaker level inputs so no need for a Line out converter. paired it with this sub:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-uKbsj0c...-P3SD2-10.html (much cheaper on Amazon)
and it all sounds great.

Did end up building my own box though.

Thanks guys! Was planning on using Memphis audio door speakers and sundown subs, but that kicker sub package deal is awesome! Definitely have to look into that!

If you go with the kicker sub only and your choice of door speakers you may get a better sound, as one other here posted the kicker door speakers aren't up to par, and that's not the first time I've heard someone say that, with that said I have no issues with the Polks I put in my doors, crisp, clear highs and mids and before I had the sub they also had so so bass but that's a moot point now with the sub.

These are the ones I use
Amazon Amazon
I chose the marine grade set because our doors are anything but water resistant so they wont rot out.

Going on 2 years old and still sound great, fairly reasonably priced as well, and be sure no matter what you get to use the harness adapters so you don't have to cut the oem harness, this is what most people use.
Amazon Amazon
they come 2 to a pack.

I have the complete kicker setup with there door speakers and for me they sound way better than stock. With the complete kit. The door speakers have a amp added to them as well. Go on amazon and seller has the kit for 549.00

I installed it - 2014 F150. Took about 2 hrs bc I had to make sure to not mess up any component of the sliding rear window...power wires, control wires, motor, etc...
