I am wanting to install amber running lights behind the grille of my 2012 xlt. Would prefer to hook them up to my light switch and have the turn on when the other amber lights are on. Do not want to add another switch right now. Does anyone know which wire to splice into and where to pick it up? I am assuming near the headlights, just not for sure. Thanks

Spice into the parking lamp, there will be three wires on the plug, positive will be the middle wire which is yellow and some other color, and negative will be the black wire. Two of the three wires are yellow, so remember it is the middle wire, the other one is for the signal. You can also test to see which wire is the parking lamp, just to be sure.
