Thanks, guys. Just wanted to make sure it wasn’t just me. I always access thus from my iPad. Been on here for years and never had a problem until recently.

If by mobile app you are referring to garage talk, I just learned that it will also be going away from BadFish523 & IP Jose: https://www.f150forum.com/f80/some-m...7/#post5681679

Here's one of several that show up on the mobile web site. The mobile site is not an "app" though, from what I've read there is no mobile app, at least for Android users. Haven't found one either, if it exists.

It only happens on the f150forum.com site. It's malware on the site's servers. I've seen it on another site and the site owner fixed it eventually.

The mobile web site is useless on my phone. The mal-ad locks up the whole screen.

once you install the addon to Firefox, it's always active when you start the browser

Thanks. I use Chrome, but would add Firefox if I thought it would work.

But, I just got on to the mobile site and browsed a few threads and so far, no ads kidnapping my page. Maybe somebody got it done.

I have it open now and it should heave been captured already. Still works though

Side note - also found that the site does not work if

Never mind -my phone just got taken hostage. It's still out there. It's actually a redirect to another web site, you can see the web address in this image. Pretty powerful too, but at least you can close the window.

Second side note - the new site software always jams attachments to the top of the window instead of inline.

This is why I chose Firefox for mobile use, If I try to use Chrome I get the same results.

Stop using mobile website and use Garage Talk app! Ads are less common and usually a smaller banner that is manageable.

The Garage Talk app keeps putting the wrong post under user's names, if you refresh the page it'll say something different each time - my experience anyway. When I questioned the app being improved, because I actually preferred using it, I was informed that support for garage talk has ended & eventually service will end for it entirely
