Default Almost There..

So about a week ago, I had opened up my search to both new and used f150's. While the better deals were used, I plan on keeping it fora long, long time. I came across a deal for a 2011 (new, still on the lot) xl supercab 4x4. Tow package, power package, upgraded stereo system.

Here's where I'm having issues. The deal was for $24,340, but they "made a math mistake" and now it's $25,430. This is the one I want, and it's the best deal, however the salesman is starting to rub me the wrong way. There's another deal, for less $$ but with less options. However this salesman has been great, and done everything to match the other price (the other is a MUCH bigger dealer)

Either way, I'm walking away with a new f150, now trying to decide whose!

For me it's very simple - you go where they treat you right. $$$ aren't everything.

You should be able to get the first truck at the original price. As a customer you never pay for a salesmans mistake. If they really wanted to sell you a 2011 truck the $1000 wouldn't matter, if they can't match that go with the other dealer.

For an XL. I'd be bitching at 25k too.

I'd bitch everyday. And walk and look elsewhere if you can't get what you want.

Yet, for $25,000. You can find some very nice slightly used vehicles with better options.

That would be my personal route. Consider most vehicles drop 3-5k in value as soon as you drive it off the new lot.
