Default Air conditioning acting up

Well i had my first expeience with just how bad the AC is in our trucks. I know alot of people have mentioned this before... It got up to 89 degreees in MN yesterday and i had about a 40 min drive to a client meeting. During this time my truck had a hard time getting cold. It got cool inside but never to the point where i was ready to turn the fan down or temp back up. I was always feeling like i wanted more . This was great since i was wearing a suit. Anyone else noticing this? Love the truck otherwise! (aside from my newly found oil consumption)

moved and retitled

89 degrees? really? you couldn't live in Florida... 89 is a GOOD day!

it's a big truck cab, it takes a little while too cool, but yeah in the 2010 scab I had, the AC always seemed rather weak...

and the oil consumption thing, I wouldn't worry too much about it, especially if you have under 6-7 thousand miles on the truck. once the engine is fully broken in, the consumption will slow way down

Thanks so much for the response. I just added oil and im going to wait until it needs to be changed. Not to mention adding fresh oil will only help the prolong the breakdown process.

As for the AC most times its fine but when i get mild florida weather up here it sucks. The weird part is that i am just noticing it now.... We had some hot 100+ degree days up here this summer...

Edit: BTW I have 9500 miles on the truck....

my a/c seems to be working great on my f150. My wife's 2011 fusion, however, is weak to the point where if I need to be cool I force it into max ac with the blower on high - I will be complaining to the dealership soon
