Default Air Cell Question

I am thinking about removing the rear blocks out of my 4X4 to try and level the truck out a little bit better. Front level and bigger tires will not work for me since I work downtown and park in a garage everyday. I tow a 25 foot travel trailer once or twice a month, so I was wondering if anyone has added the AIR LIFT Air Cells to help out with the height difference after the blocks are removed? If anyone has the air cells with no rear block can you show some photos, THANKS?

Never heard of Air Lift, but several guys on here use Firestone ride right air bags on trucks with and without the rear blocks, since the blocks are only on 4x4's

I am trying to either run AIR CELLS or Trimbens instead of air bags and having to either fill the bags manually or have to wire in all the switch and compressor stuff.

I know it won't help but there is probably a reason you have had to bump several times, NO ONE uses them, most use air bags or RAS on here that I know of.

There is one member that has air bags on his 2wd and uses bags and tows his boat.

Why not use bags? Airing up and down once or twice a month isn't that bad.

If I air up to tow my camper to the campground, how will the truck ride the rest of the weekend with all the air in them? Will it ride super ruff? I was thinking I would have to fill to get to camping, empty the bags to drive around town and then air them back up to tow home? That is what concerned me about having to buy the compressor and everything. If guys tow with say 30 pounds, can you drive say 30 or 40 miles with just the truck without having your teeth rattle out?

Should be fine. You do not need to add a compressor. You can use a bicycle pump, not as convinient but will work.

Most reccomend running a minimum 5 psi in them all the time anyway.
