Default Air bag light?

The little orange light with the airbag and guy with seatbelt is always on when my truck is running. What does this mean? I did mod the drivers side seatbelt so it does not chime while driving.

It won't chime if you wear it.

That may be an airbag fault, look in your owners manual and it will show you what those idiot lights mean.

This is not an airbag fault. This is an idiot driving without buckling the seatbelt. Then to add insult he has modded the alarm system so he does not have to listen to the alarm. Why, if he doesn't want to wear the seatbelt, not just buckle the belt and leave it buckled behind his back?

Well, it's his choice if he chooses to not wear a seatbelt and I'm not his mommy so....

He really didn't "mod" anything as it shows you how to disable the beltminder chime in the owners manual as I have done it also because when I do jobs where I'm in and out of the truck every few hundred feet I don't use my belt.

I dont know if our f150s have a seatbelt pretensioners. if they do and most likely they do, maybe you messed yours up while modding the seatbelts, since its part of the srs system it will turn the srs fault light on.

Yes there are pretensioners. There is no modding to what he did, you put key in and turn it to acc. And clip and unclip seatbelt so many times then turn key off in a certain amount of time. It's computer controlled.

Owners manual, great resource for figuring out our $$$$ investments!

I was of the same thought as he said he "modded" the chime. He did not say he turned it off via using the owner's manual.

Maybe "modded" wasn't the best word to use. I'll try not to be an idiot next time.
