Aftermarket Sub/Amp

Fitting a sub/amp combo to my 2014 F150 XLT super crewcab - amp has high level inputs to splice into speakers - what disadvantage if I only splice in one speaker to both high level inputs

You will only get one side of the audio. If there is a difference in audio from left to right, you will be missing some of the sound.
