Made these on Saturday. I should say helped my brother make these for my truck. They mount to the pinch weld on the rocker (there are six holes roughly 3/8" predrilled) and have a butt plate to help with strength. They do flex a little but are stronger then I expected. This is roughly the same as how the n-fabs mount.

Looks really sharp. Hope you can find a way to add some traction (rubber, plastic to the top of the tubes so no one busts their pattooties when they try to step up in the rain or snow while carrying a couple of bags. Don't ask me how I thought of that.

I will probably half the tubes and fill with checker plate. Was in the plans but didn't have time.

I was also planning to have them sprayed with bed liner or something similar but I think I will see how the aluminum look holds up in time.

Thats what i was planning also, have them rhino lined so they are grippy. Plus they would look sweet

Suggestion: You may want to consider (?) OEM Raptor running boards. i.e. there's currently a set for a crew cab on ebaY®.
