I could be wrong and hope I am but my understanding is that will not work with the 2013 head units. The plug on the head unit of the 2013 F150 is different than the ones prior.

I very much want to add amps to my stock head unit but not willing to cut up the harness to do so.

Depends on the head unit. The basic sync system, such as the STX with no screen, works with the PAC. The XLT with the 4.2" screen, and the higher models with the screens, it will not work.
