Yeah, found this out the hard way. The part didn't work and I needed to get an additional adapter. I'll know more once I get it complete. Turned out the subwoofer was cracked so had to order another one. Installation won't be finished for a week. ugh!

Depends on the head unit. The basic sync system, such as the STX with no screen, works with the PAC. The XLT with the 4.2" screen, and the higher models with the screens, it will not work.
