Default AFE Cold Air & Hypertech tune

Went into my local dealer to pic up some accessories and noticed that they were selling and installing cold air intakes for the Eco's. Just bought my 2013 Ecoboost Platinum about 6 weeks ago and was really interested in this.
They had just sold their last one with more on the way, but I managed to find one elsewhere in town. At the same time I picked up a Hypertech tuner and tuned after install of the cold air intake.
So, if Ford is pushing the cold air intake am I to believe that having this will not void warranty?
Also, I have read through various threads and have noticed that Hypertech is not the tuner of choice, but I bought it, I have it and want to check it out. I have also read on here the various thoughts on if using it will or will not void warranty.. Guess it's too late now and will have to see what happens..

Have not had time to really take it out on the road, but looking forward to it. I did not notice more noise from the Cold Air intake and I have ordered AFE's cover. Anybody use the cover on theirs? I am yet to find a review of it.

Also we have a 07 Gmc Yukon with the afe kit and metal cover and it makes no difference . I leave it on so the filter sucks less engine heat and more cooler air.
