Default advice on installing backup camera

okay guys, i installed a double din headunit into my 2010 fx2 and i have a backup camera for it, problem is i don't know where to run the wires from the camera to the headunit. it is one if the models that mounts on top of your license plate

I would just run it along the factory harness. Bring it into the cab through the factory grommet.

On the drivers side there is a harness that runs front to back. I started at the camera and ran mine forward and zip tied it to the harness after it put it in loom.

Pull up the drivers side floor plastic cover. It's that piece between the carpet and the rock of the door. In the back under the harness in the tray you will see a rubber grommet. Run your RCA into the cab there and follow the harness to the parking brake area then to the HU.

I tapped into my trailer harness for power and ground.
