Default Adding steering wheel radio controls

Can you have FORD add radio controls to your steering wheel if all you have is the cruise control on there right now? Has anyone done this?

I'm sure you could, but the price you would pay for it would make it unreasonable. I have them but I still tend to use the **** on the console more often than not.

Yeah we just got a new 07 altima and they have the steering wheel controls and they are so convenient and safe and I was just curious if it would be something that could be done.

Default New steering wheel

I just read a post from someone who put a complete steering wheel from another truck that already had the controls. I believe that he was also putting in an after market radio. I think he said the controls did not work for the OEM radio. However, he was able to program the controls via a PAC Stearing wheel control adapter for the after market unit.
