Default Adding inline fluid filters trans/ps

My 2010 XL did not come with the trans cooler and I have purchased the factory cooler and hoses necessary to retro fit them and will do the filter and fluid change at the same time. I am also want to add an aux inline filter (magnefine most like as I use them on my Honda AT and PS for the kid hauler) to the trans and ps lines. From the parts listing, the inlet hose is the upper driver side hose with the 90 degree bend in it,

Inlet hose. Inlet tube. Tube. . Upper
4.6 LITER, W/4 SPEED TRANS.

and the lower hose on the passenger side (or toward the passenger side) is the outlet. Need to know if this is correct for inline filter flow.

In the same manner, the parts listing shows the smaller diameter hose as the return hose

P/S RETURN HOSE. Reservoir hose. Return hose. Upr return hose.
2009-10, 4.6 LITER.

and the larger hose, the P/S suction line.

Can anyone verify the flow path for the trans and p/s fluid.

Transmission I can confirm. the fluid flow is out of the radiator at the top hose, through the cooler and out the bottom back to the pan. like this from 09 onward.
